Andrew J. Sossin
NFLPA Registered Player Financial Advisor
Phone: 954-239-6150 Ext 1
Having grown up in South Florida, Andrew began his career at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, where he built up a diverse clientele during his 10-year career there. His extensive knowledge of life and disability insurance for successful individuals, business owners, athletes, and entertainers has been obtained through the plethora of tailored plans he has designed and optimized for his clients. Andrew also specializes in estate planning, in the realms of both liquid and illiquid assets such as businesses and collectibles. Andrew has a BA in Finance from the University of Florida and he holds the 2-15 Life and Health license. He serves as a proud member of the Executive Boards of the American Cancer Society in South Florida and the One Family Fund. In addition, Andrew is on several fundraising committees for the United Jewish Communities of Broward and for Friends of the IDF, as well as several other local and international non-profits.
Andrew immensely enjoys traveling. On a trip to Australia in 2002, he joined a childhood friend off the coast for a great white shark diving excursion. There was nothing between the two friends and the sharks except a small cage. Needless to say, now that Andrew now has a wife and two sons, his days of shark diving are over. Of course, there is no correlation between Andrew’s penchant for adventure and his ability to remove risk from the portfolios of his clients!
Robert J. Finn
Head of Planning Group
Phone: 954-239-6150 Ext 2
Robert grew up in South Florida before spending some time in Chicago and New York. He began his career as a financial consultant at Holt Value Associate, an affiliate of Credit Suisse, and later as a hedge fund operations manager. Before joining Andrew at Sossin Financial Group, he spent three years as an international banker in Citibank’s Global Executive Banking Group in New York. Robert’s exposure to both the securities and insurance worlds has helped him develop a skill for seeing the big picture for his clients. His income maximization strategies have proven sound in all environments, from bull to bear markets, taking advantage of volatility and providing his clients with income and principal guarantees that are so often missing from a traditional portfolio. He specializes in showing clients how to avoid unnecessary taxation on IRAs, 401Ks, and other qualified plans. Robert is a registered investment advisor representative with a BA in Economics from Northwestern University. He also holds the 2-15 Life and Health license and the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. He is involved as a fundraiser and volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s Jail N’ Bail and Chai Lifeline, and is a supporter and member of the Financial Professionals committees of the Jewish Federation and Broward Health Foundation. He has also organized community programs for other local charities.
Robert spent a semester in Salamanca, Spain, during college. He took classes at the Universidad de Salamanca, the third oldest university in Europe. Despite its impressive pedigree, he learned during his time there that the students who made the most progress with the Spanish language were those that went to the local Spanish bars at least once or twice a week in the evenings to speak with the locals.
